YOU have now taken some science classes, and you have read "TEAS EXAM TEA" Part II: How to Study for the TEAS?" Now it is time for you to register for your TEAS test and make that perfect score!

The TEAS test is registered through www.atitesting.com. I advise you to contact an advisor within your pre-nursing major to answer specific questions on what to do about registration. This articles serves to explain the surface on what to expect when registering. After you visit the website, you will choose what state you are in, city, and institution where the test will be held at. Keep in mine that there might not be a testing center in your exact location. For example, I might live in Decatur, Georgia, but there are locations in Atlanta, Clarkston, or Athens. Choose a location that is closet, or BEST for you. The locations are held at a university or college.

Get your wallet out *sigh* Yes, the test is a little bit pricey. Prices VARY on the location you are taking it at. Depending on where you are taking your test, the cost may be $90-$125* plus tax. Please, please save money during the time you are studying for your TEAS so you can pay for your test. If you read my article "TEAS EXAM TEA" Part II: How to Study for the TEAS?" You now see why I said take the test as if you are going to pass it the first time. The test is costly, so you do not want to retake many times, especially if you are not studying after each time, or not serious at the time you are about the take it. Do not get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with retaking it ONLY if you need to. Maybe you want a more competitive score, or you did not do as good the first time, so the second time is your LAST. Make your money count.

After you taken your TEAS exam, get your wallet out again *sigh,* because you have to also pay to send your scores to your university or colleges you are applying to. This is about $27* plus tax. THERE IS AN EXCEPTION! If you took your test at the same institution that you attend, then you are exempt from paying that fee since your score will stay within the school. If you have more specific questions, my best advice is to contact any adviser at your college or university to guide you, or, you can utilize my "CONTACT" page on my website where I can personally answer any questions or concern you have about this article. You made it to the end of this series! So, are you ready to pass your TEAS exam?
